Eurynome, the goddess of all creation, is a fascinating figure from ancient mythology. According to the legends, she emerged from Chaos and played a pivotal role in shaping the world as we know it. She skillfully separated the sea from the sky, bringing order to the universe. In a mesmerising display of dance upon the waves, Eurynome created the wind by rubbing it in her hands. This act resulted in the manifestation of Ophion, a serpent with whom she shared a passionate connection. Their union led to Eurynome becoming pregnant and ultimately transforming into a dove.As a dove, Eurynome laid what is known as the World Egg.
Ophion coiled around this egg and helped bring forth everything that exists within our cosmos today. It’s truly awe-inspiring to think about how this single egg brought about such incredible diversity and complexity. After their cosmic endeavours were complete, Eurynome and Ophion settled on Mount Olympus but unfortunately found their relationship troubled by differences in beliefs. When Ophion declared himself as the sole Creator, Eurynome made the difficult decision to banish him to the netherworld.Undeterred by this setback, Eurynome went on to establish seven planets within our solar system. Each planet was assigned both a Titan and Titaness who would govern over it with their unique powers and influences. When humanity eventually came into existence, they were said to have sprung forth directly from soil itself. The first human being named Pelasgus emerged as not only an ancestor but also an educator for his fellow humans.
He taught them necessary survival skills such as gathering food from acorns, constructing huts for sheltering themselves, and creating simple garments for protection. The story of Eurynome paints her as an integral force behind creation itself – guiding elements like wind and sea while birthing life through celestial eggs. Her journey showcases both her immense power and her ability to shape the world we inhabit.
On myON a book called “Fighting for Survival: The Story of the Holocaust” starts in 1919 on the heels of the loss to the Allied powers in world war I Germany begrudgingly signed a treaty accepting responsibility for the conflict. The nation had lost many of their territories and has been ordered to pay for the damages sustained during/by the war. As a result many of the Germans despaired as the economy crumbled around them.
When the war hero Adolf Hitler became the leader of the National Socialist German Workers’ [Nazi] Party, the struggling middle class desperate for hope. Using Propaganda. Hitler placed the blame for the Germans problems on anyone who was not a member of the Aryan race, which consisted of/the white, by 1928, more than 100,000 Germans had pledged their allegiance to the Nazi party, Adolf Hitler officially rose to power when he was named the chancellor of Germans on January 30, 1933.

This is my own Haiku, a Haiku is when the 1st and 3ed line has five syllables not word, the 2ed line has seven syllables. Haiku are short Japanese poems with fixed pattern of three lines.
He mumbled to himself shivering cold with goosebumps all over his body. His face was as pale as a ghost, eyes wide open, hands trembling as he heard the sound of a gun shoot near by.
This week room 6 and 7 made string telephones from plastic, wool and paper [plastic] cups.
First we poked a hole inside the cup and then put the string inside through the bottom of the cup, we then tied a knot so the string doesn’t come out and put some tape on the string in case it tries to come out. Then grab a buddy and have a try talking through it, make sure it is taut too.
How it works is when you talk in the cup, your voice sends sound waves [or vibrations] inside the other cup, which makes the bottom of the cup vibrate. The vibrations are transferred from the string and the sound waves come out of the other cup. Using the wool string with a paper cup wouldn’t be the best choice I recommend because you can only hear mumbling even though it’s taut and when you use plastic string with paper cups you can hear clearly.
When we make string telephones again I’d like to try to use thin mantle cans instead of paper cups, and see how it goes.
